Rahi Gambhir is a character in the Prime Video series Citadel and Citadel: Honey Bunny. Rahi is Nadia's father. He is portrayed by Paul Bazely and Varun Dhawan.

Rahi's life is marked by relentless struggle and profound loyalty. Orphaned at a young age after his parents’ tragic deaths, things takes a dramatic turn when he is rescued from an abusive orphanage by Guru, the enigmatic leader of a clandestine spy agency. Rahi grapples with the violent demands and ethical dilemmas his profession presents. His life takes a significant turn when he meets Honey, a junior dancer with a tragic past and fierce determination. Bunny works as a stuntman in 1992 in Bombay. He befriends Honey and introduces her to a well-paying but illegal side job and becomes her partner in the heist against David D’Souza. After rescuing Honey during the heist, he reports back to his boss, Vishwa, who criticizes him for involving Honey. In 2000, Bunny is in Bucharest and learns via a message that Honey and their daughter are in danger in Nainital.

It's revealed that Bunny was orphaned in a mass shooting and raised in Himachal Pradesh. He reunites with Chacko in 2000 to gather weapons and track Honey. He helps train Honey as an agent in 1992 after convincing Vishwa to recruit her. He fights KD during a shootout and wins.

Spy Game[]

Bunny arrives at the safe house with Chacko in 2000 and expresses sadness at how Honey has changed. He later finds Nadia’s belongings and becomes emotional looking at photographs. In 1992, Bunny and his team monitor Dr. Rao, overhearing key details about the Armada. Bunny grows concerned when Honey fails to return and is surprised when Vishwa arrives with KD.

Bunny suspects Vishwa’s reactivation of the agency involves a significant plan. In 1992, he dismisses Honey’s concerns about Rao and disrupts Vishwa’s mission by grabbing Rao and stealing the chip. He ultimately kills Rao despite his promise, angering Honey and creating a rift between them.

In 2000, Bunny breaks into a Citadel facility to track Honey’s activities and later intercepts her meeting with Shaan. He convinces her to abandon Citadel, revealing the existence of a traitor who helped Vishwa escape. In 1992, Bunny prevents Vishwa from killing Honey but later threatens her himself, stopping only when she reveals her pregnancy.

Bunny struggles with Honey’s distrust but ultimately supports her and Nadia. He destroys the Armada in front of Vishwa, rejecting his ambitions. During the palace battle, Bunny stays behind to ensure Honey and Nadia’s escape. After a fierce fight with KD, he walks away injured, leaving his next move uncertain.

Citadel[]

Rahi is known as a terrorist and an enemy of Citadel. He meets with his daughter, Nadia, secretly on a park bench. Nadia tells him that she's pregnant and he makes arrangements for her to go to Valencia to hide from Mason and give birth to her daughter. Rahi is there for the birth of his granddaughter.

Rahi and Nadia secretly stay in touch, sending secure messages to one another.

Appearance[]

In Citadel: Honey Bunny, Rahi is a younger, athletic man with long dark hair. He is good looking. In Citadel, Rahi is an older man with graying hair and a short beard. He has a skinny frame.

Personality[]

Rahi appears to be a caring man, especially when it comes to protecting his daughter and granddaughter. However, it is unknown what Rahi is capable of given he has a reputation as a terrorist and enemy of Citadel.
