Matteo Spadaro is a character in the Italian Prime Video series, Citadel: Diana, who is portrayed by Daniele Paoloni. He is the manager of Manticore Italy.

Matteo is the Manager of Manticore Italy. He is a cold and direct leader, convinced that the only way to rule over the agents is to keep them under pressure at all times, in a climate of relentless tension. Matteo comes from the secret services: he has always been an expendable pawn and only Manticore gave him a goal, something greater to fight for. Ettore opened his eyes, which were once blinded with rage, and Matteo owes him his new life.[1]
In the Series[]
Matteo is the manager of Manticore Italy. In a flashback, he reveals to Diana that her parents were killed by the secret service, offering her an alliance to dismantle the corrupt system responsible for their deaths. Matteo becomes her mentor during her early days in Manticore, guiding her through training and shaping her worldview.
Near the end of the season, he reappears and becomes a threat to Diana when Ettore enlists him to test Edo's loyalty and eliminate Diana. During a confrontation at a water plant where they disperse a parasitic weapon, Matteo and Diana clash, each with opposing motives. Matteo’s final interaction with Diana ends in a deadly showdown.
