Plot Summary[]
In a flashback after the attack on Citadel, Diana leaves a voice message, explaining that she is a Citadel agent working undercover inside Manticore. She’s searching for other operatives, but after 19 days, her mission seems hopeless. Meanwhile, Manticore Italy faces heavy sanctions. During this time, Edo visits Diana, asking about his brother, and she reassures him that although they had limited interactions, his brother was a strong leader.
In present, Diana visits her sister Sara, who is preparing to sell her house and move to Iceland. They share a heartfelt goodbye, with Sara promising Diana she’ll always have a place to stay if needed.
Meanwhile, Cécile, Wolfgang, Edo, and Ettore discuss their next steps, focusing on a weapon called Jupiter, which the Zanis believe is the future of Manticore Europe. Jupiter is a parasitic weapon that embeds itself in the human body via the water supply, allowing Manticore to track anyone and control their fate. Ettore adds a deadly protocol, giving Manticore the power of life and death over people.
With Manticore Italy gaining the upper hand over France and Germany, the European Council agrees to share access to Jupiter. Edo is advised by his father to decide how to use it.
Diana, still conflicted, replays Gabriele’s message in her mind before meeting Edo. Despite his initial anger, she tells him she wants to be with him. After they sleep together, Diana admits she considered destroying the weapon but decided against it, fearing more trouble. Edo then reveals to Diana that Manticore killed her parents, though he wasn’t involved in that decision. Edo shares his invention with Diana and discusses her change of heart with Ettore, who is suspicious of Diana’s sudden shift in opinion. While Edo seems to trust her, Ettore harbors doubts about her true intentions.
After a conversation with his father, Edo gives him the code to control Jupiter. However, Edo wants Diana to lead Manticore Italy. Ettore agrees but secretly plans to block Diana’s communications and have her eliminated by Matteo after the mission is complete. Julia is shocked, but Ettore insists this is for Edo’s own good.
When Edo learns of his father’s plan, he tries to contact Matteo. However, Matteo and Diana are already at a water plant, dispersing the first batch of Jupiter into the water supply. After the test, Diana and Matteo start to fight.
Meanwhile, Edo confronts his father, revealing that he has implanted Jupiter into Ettore’s body and holds a controller that can manipulate his father’s nervous system.
After the fight, Diana discovers the bodies of other agents. Out of nowhere, Gabriele appears and Diana has a decision to make- Edo or Gabriele and Citadel.
