Synopsis[]

1992: Bunny, a stuntman in films, recruits struggling actor Honey for a side gig which endangers her life. 2000: Single mother Honey and her daughter Nadia’s idyllic life is shattered when Honey’s past catches up. And the estranged Bunny finds a truth that shakes up his life!

Plot Summary[]

In the year 2000 in Nainital, Honey drops her daughter, Nadia, at school before returning to the café she co-owns with her partner, Vivek. While running an errand, she notices a suspicious man trailing her. She quickly hides and sends Nadia a coded message, “Play,” on her pager. Following the cue, Nadia sneaks out of school and heads to a theater, texting her mother the word “cinema.” Meanwhile, Honey pursues the man, but another person ambushes and knocks her out.

In a flashback to 1992 in Bombay, Bunny works as a stuntman on a film set. Honey is an aspiring actress auditioning for a role. When the director makes an inappropriate move, Honey fends him off with a swift kick. Later, Honey and Bunny share a meal, where Honey confides her financial struggles. Bunny suggests a well-paying but illegal side job, which Honey initially declines. However, after her landlord evicts her, she reconsiders.

Bunny, along with others, including Ludo, discusses a new heist targeting David D'Souza, a businessman involved in a high-tech deal. Honey eventually agrees to join the job, showing up at Bunny’s doorstep.

In the year 2000, Honey, now trapped in a car trunk, texts Nadia, instructing her to call Vivek for help, which she does.

Back in 1992, Honey distracts David at a hotel, enabling Bunny and his team to search his room. When they can’t locate the desired tech disc, Honey takes matters into her own hands. She drugs David and retrieves the disc from his pocket, but he awakens, suspecting a connection to a man named Vishwa, whom Honey doesn’t recognize. Bunny rushes in to rescue her, fighting off David’s guards. As they escape, David pages an ally named Shaan, who chases Bunny’s group. During the chaos, one of Bunny’s men, Jagan, is left behind, and Honey is injured, though Bunny manages to help her get away.

Shaan informs Zooni, a woman involved in a project called Project Talwar, about the situation. Meanwhile, Bunny reports to Vishwa, who scolds him for involving Honey, an innocent civilian, in their affairs.

In 2000, Bunny is living in Bucharest and is a part of a band. After spending the night with a woman, he receives a message to “check portal.” At a cyber café, he sees the shocking news: “Honey alive. You have a daughter. They are in danger somewhere in Nainital.”

Back in Nainital, Honey fights her way out of the car trunk, kills the drivers, and escapes. At the same time, mysterious men break into Nadia’s home, killing Vivek and leaving Nadia in desperate need of help. She sends a message to Honey.
