Carter Spence is one of the main characters of the Prime Video series Citadel. A Citadel agent, Carter is portrayed by actor Osy Ikhile.

Infinite Shadows[]
In a flashback to ten years earlier at one of the Citadel offices, Carter helps brief Mason Kane on a mission to intercept a vial of the ebola virus strain.
Later, in present time, Nadia sees a video from Carter Spence recorded only four months prior. The video was stored in the Citadel X Case. Carter asked for help from any remaining Citadel agents and said that Manticore was closing in on his location. Nadia recognizes it as a black site near Fez.
Tell Her Everything[]
Carter is locked in a cell at a Black Site in Morocco. Nadia and Mason come to save him but Carter appears to more afraid than relieved when he sees them. He is confused and surprised to see Mason, telling him “You did this”.
In a flashback to ten years earlier, Carter and Mason discuss the Oz key, which is still missing. Carter accuses Mason of acting out of character by backstopping Celeste, believing he did it to protect Nadia, who was responsible for the ops team infiltration. Carter tries to warn Mason about Nadia. He tells him that even though he loves Nadia, he thinks that Mason thinks Nadia might be the mole. Mason tells him to never say anything like that ever again.
In present, Carter backtracks and blames Nadia for putting him in this position, despite his earlier accusation towards Mason.
Time Renders Us Enemies[]
Carter tells Mason not to trust Nadia. He explains that she was secretly speaking to known terrorist, Rahi Gambhir, and that she is the reason behind the Manticore attack that wiped out most of Citadel. Nadia tries to reason with Carter, explaining that Rahi is her father and that he was helping her protect her daughter, Asha.
Secrets in Night Need Early Rains[]
Carter goes with Nadia and Mason to hack into a Russian nuclear submarine to obtain nuclear weapons for Dahlia, who has threatened Nadia and Mason’s daughter. Carter gives directions from the plane above to Nadia and Mason down below. They are successful and go to see Cristoph to do a trade for Asha. Nadia and Mason go meet Cristoph while Carter climbed up the building to get eyes on Asha. He shoots the man guarding Asha to save her from getting hurt.
